Project Summary: To upgrade the electrical system of the Kitchen at Afagnan hospital so they meet the current hygiene and safety standards. Renovation of an African kitchen and electrical facilities at the Neonatal Department of the Saint Jean De Dieu Hospital , which is situated at Afagnan, circa 90 km from the capital Lomè and 30 km from the Atlantic coast. Specific Objectives: To install a new electrical system in the department, including lights, strips and sockets. Modern, secure electrical installations that guarantee continuity of care and reduce the risk of electrical incidents. Facilities that enable medical staff to provide quality care, leading to increased satisfaction among staff, patients and families. This project meets the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 14 – Life Below Water. Direct Beneficiaries: This project will directly benefit the children being cared for in the neonatal unit, their parents and the staff of the neonatal unit, with an estimated 7,200 users per year. |
